The best trail in 2008 was a battle between various trails in Moab Utah and Bend Oregon, but the clear winner was the Porcupine Trail in Moab. In 2009, trails in Moab Utah were again in the finals, but this time they were up against Colorado. On this 2009 Tour, I took my bike / visited 17 bike shops, out of those 17 only 4 passed my very basic test to qualify for a recommendation article on mountainbikemayhem.com, that is quite shocking, because I was really expecting more than 90% to pass with flying colors. Today 1 year ago, I did my first ride on the Giant Yukon FX, since then we have had many adventures and many hours of trails throughout the USA, all in all we have done more than 1600 miles of Mountain Biking Trails. Our first trail together was a disaster, it was the Walker Ranch Loop in Boulder Colorado. Last year, 2008 my girlfriend and myself toured around the USA for 5 months looking for some fun and exciting rides, and preparing ourselves for the Mountain Mayhem USA tour 2009.
