Mountain bike Trails USA

Hopefully 2010 will be as good as 2009, and the Trails I will be testing will be as good or better than the trails I tested in 2009. I will continue posting all my trail experiences on this site, but I have launched a new site for my 2010 Tour of the USA and it's called | Mountain Bike Trails USA  | www.mountainbiketrailsusa.com In May of 2010, I will start riding somewhere in California, I'm looking into the "Tahoe" area. The BEST USA Mountain Biking Shop 2009

Mountain Bike Mayhems 2009 Bike shop of the year

On this 2009 Tour, I took my bike / visited 17 bike shops, out of those 17 only 4 passed my very basic test to qualify for a recommendation article on mountainbikemayhem.com, that is quite shocking, because I was really expecting more than 90% to pass with flying colors. Other than the obvious being polite and helpful, I looked for honesty and good judgement. Every shop I went to, I asked them to check my back brakes, I said that I thought they needed replacing. However I knew that the brakes … [Read more...]

Happy 1st Birthday Giant Yukon FX

Today 1 year ago, I did my first ride on the Giant Yukon FX, since then we have had many adventures and many hours of trails throughout the USA, all in all we have done more than 1600 miles of Mountain Biking Trails. Our first trail together was a disaster, it was the Walker Ranch Loop in Boulder Colorado. A fantastic loop, but I went straight from the shop and "Bombed" down a 4+ section of the trail, when I saw I was about to climb, I shifted gear, and the chain jumped over the smallest ring, … [Read more...]

Somewhere Hood River Oregon on the Mountain Madness Tour 2008

Anyway, … [Read more...]
